The Sea-S h e l l
What blues that mirrors in the sky
Such fire that dazzles my eye
The dawn with moonlight haze
The sea with silver shine
Its beaches the children haunt
And castles on sand they vaunt
ebbs and flows they sway
and rocked in its lap all day
When the sea wind whiffles
My boat sails into my love
The mariners' hopes will bud
and clouds in sky will scud
In winter its angry waves
spray against my lashes
it roars in my ears
and flutters in my eyes

where your strange dreams dwell
down in the deep
like sound in your sleep
