Works Great. Glad to see it available in the play store. I see a lot of complaints about lack of chromecast support. I actually have a chromecast and a fire stick and find that on many channels (apps), the video quality is better on the fire stick. It does use more bandwidth though. I find myself using the fire stick more than my chromecast. I have created activities using my Harmony remote/hub and can control much of the fire stick using my Google home. Tied to Smartthings, it's really cool to pause the fire Stick using Google home, the lights come back on, the tv pauses. Full Review

Just got this app,,,and I was hit with a "force to click ad" clicking back did not help, I had to power off my tablet. I have never had that happen before while using a real Amazon app. So I uninstalled the app. Then went to my amazon app, and opened videos, then downloaded app from link there. No force to click ad this time and movies load fast. Will update if i get more force to click ads. Full Review

Whenever I try to resume my favourite TV drama, it somehow crashes and doesn't play from where I left. I have to replay the entire video, which is hectic. Kindly fix that bug. Also, some panjabi rom-coms would never do anyone harm. Please make that available. Make the home screen more vibrant with more lists of the shows that have been added to. Thanks. :) Full Review

The same freaking issue as with most content providers. Being that you reside in one country doesn't necessarily mean that you speak the language of that country. I live and work in Germany but I only speak English. Downloaded the app which only comes in German and doesn't even let you change the language. As for the content... If English is the original language that's fine. However, from time to time I like to have subtitles to understand maybe a dialect or some lingo... Good luck there! Only German subtitles. Now if the movie is in another language, no chance for me to be able to watch it. Shouldn't this be considered as discrimination for all non-speaking German people, especially for a service you pay for? Not to mention, that even if you change regions within Europe, e.g. via a VPN provider, the movie might not be available. I can maybe understand this if it would be another continent, but in Europe? We are trying to form a European union, yet some smartasses keep reminding us that this is not really the case! Full Review

But instead you guys let ego get in your way. This is not the way to compete, you will drive your customers further away. Full Review

Now make it work with Chromecast. 1 star for finally releasing in the play store instead of forcing me to "allow installation from unknown sources" in order to use underground app and prime video app. I remember when you forced a Chromecast enabling app to shut down. Not appreciated. Full Review

It's not really that good, a lot of the films you want to watch you have to rent or buy. Even the wizard of oz from 1939 which I think is a bit of a joke. I've only kept prime for ordering items for next day delivery. Full Review

Amazon I'm a Prime member and before that I was all in on choosing you as my video service of choice. But you all are almost the only service on Earth that refuses to support Chromecast and I highly doubt there is any technical reason that you cannot. So you lost a customer to Google, Vudu etc. because of your games. Stop the games and I'd be happy to use your video services. Full Review

The app would be nice, if it existed in a vacuum. The fact that it has no Chromecast support is a big strike against it. No Roku support (in Canada) is another. There is no easy way to get Prime Video onto my TV screen. And the content does not compare to Netflix (again, in Canada); the Amazon Originals are pretty good, but there is little to no third-party material. All in all, it would be easy to fix these problems, if Amazon cared enough to do it. Full Review

As long as I want to only watch video on my tiny phone screen instead of on my TV through a laggy, buggy interface, I guess this is fine. All other media apps (Netflix, YouTube, Twitch, et al.) work with casting. But Amazon has decided not to play nice with anyone but themselves. So without buying extra peripherals made by Amazon or a TV from the brands Amazon partners with, this service is useless. Double dipping to profit from it's subscribers. Full Review

Whilst generally an ok app, two things bug me: 1. No Chromecast support. There is no technical reason for this, other than to lock you into the Amazon ecosystem. Fair enough. But that ecosystem is not as mature as Google's... 2. What's with the annoying ad when I open the app, or when I start watching some shows? If I wanted ads I'd watch terrestrial TV. At least have an option to disable this annoyance. Full Review

For some inexplicable reason, this app opens with an ad for an Amazon show. You can't do anything until the ad is over. Amazon, listen, the whole reason I'm on your app is to watch your shows... Why are you advertising your shows to me as I open the app? Netflix doesn't do this. Google Play Movies & TV doesn't do this. YouTube doesn't do this. It makes looking at the app a hassle every time I open it and I hate it. Full Review

It has to be 1 star as the app simply doesn't work in it's current state. I couldn't wait to enjoy my fav shows, on the way to work and on my new phone. However, the app regularly crashes and gets to a point where it simply won't load(it just sits on the loading orange circle screen). Even after often reinstalling and clearing the data+chace it quickly returns to an unworkable state. There has to be a major bug/flaw within it. It's such a shame as the app is great when it works. Sadly as such, it is unusable currently. Full Review

Until this supports a convenient way to watch on my TV in Canada, this app will always get one star. There is nothing worse than watching on a tablet or smartphone screen.
