I can't support, or condone, a weather app that requires you to pay for their pro version just to be able to use their hurricane tracking feature. This is something that should be available to everyone, no payments or "pro" app necessary. I'd rather use a less accurate service, so long as it's free for everyone! Charge for every other feature, even, but don't hide a natural disaster tracker behind a paywall! Full Review

Sucks don't work. I'm in the middle of a tropical storm and the app says everything is fine. I think it is funny that the maker of this software want me to collect data for them. News Flash! Make a good product before launching! Also it is so very obvious that you paid for a lot of your reviews from the beginning because the most current reviews say your app sucks. Full Review

Buck-a-month subscription version is top notch and runs fast on my 2-year-old mid-level phone! Rates 5 STARS... if not $11.88 per year. Free version is nothing but bad bloatware! Loads huge ads. Consistently launched ad when back page button was hit. Ads cause lockup on my Nexus 6. Free version needs a premium phone with a fast cpu. Full Review

Won't work for LG G6, can't get into settings. When I click on the settings button it brings me to the location bookmark page and gives me the message that I can turn off locations in the settings. I can't access the rain overlay or the forecast pages unfortunately. The only items I can see are the main radar page and location bookmarks. Please let me know when these bugs areworked out for the LG G6 and I'll try reinstalling. I've got a couple friends who have it on their Samsung7 and 8 who like it a lot. Thanks for any help! Update 9/5/17: The app is very good, but would benefit from some tweaks such as the ability to add ALL parameters and the DATE to the widget. Also of greatest importance, is to add the forward speed & direction of movement to the hurricane tracking info! The info is available, so please add it to the info you provide! It's a pain to have to check another app or a web site to get that information. Still 3 stars. If the above is accomplished, I'll add more. Keep all it. You're getting there! ______________________________ Too many ads in free version. I uninstalled, then after a few days, reinstalled & upgraded to paid version, which is respectably better, but it could still use some tweaks. Overall, it's okay. Recent update doesn't have the option to remove pins on map for saved locations. Please reinstate that ability! Full Review

Way too many separate notifications. No options to turn them off. Temperature, alerts for areas that I wasn't in. Update: Apalon Apps replied claiming I could turn off the notifications. I followed the instructions and unchecked every box. I still have an unremovable notification for the wrong area. I am not impressed. Downgrading review from two to one star. Full Review

If you really want to know what the actual forecast for your area is, including weather warnings, always check out the National Weather Service or this application. They work harder than any other organization to make sure you get the most accurate weather information. But I always say, go online and learn about the types of clouds and how to interpret radar. Learn how to read the sky--it can literally save your life, as many tornadoes form with little to no warning, despite the best efforts of weather agencies to warn you. Full Review

Not usually the most accurate, but easier to use, and you can see other areas fairly easily. More accuracy (its been off by 8d!), means more stars. Dont expect 100%, or even 90, to be honest, but when its raining and this is stating semi cloudy, ya kinda wonder, right? All in all its a fine app, but the rain thing (even snow!!), drops the stars a bit. Fix THAT, and I'd 5 it easily. Full Review

Its alright. I read a few reviews before installing. Most people seem to find the ads annoying. An add popped up while I was typing this review. I like that it shows you the radar as soon as you open the app but If its going to be annoying I'm removing it. Get rid of the full screen ads and use simple banner ads. The best way to have ads without pissing people off is to have them voluntarily watch an ad before enabling a feature. Every time they go into the settings then show an add. Don't just randomly blast an ad on the screen. Full Review

I'm looking for a hurricane tracking application this advertise itself as a tracking application. But you have to buy it in order to get the feature of a tracking application. All they want is your money in the middle of a hurricane I really hate gouging. Last time I'll look at an app from The Weather Channel. Full Review

Of all companies and organizations providing weather forecasts, I never expected NOAA to be the one with the most obnoxious pop up ads and persistent requests to pay for 'premium' severe storm tracking. Edit: Using the acronym NOAA to market an app providing weather forecasts with the most obnoxious "pop up ads" and persistent requests to pay for 'premium' severe storm tracking is ridiculously misleading to the average downloader and even more embarrassing for NOAA. Take the temperature and add off the bottom and I would give it one more star. When going to settings the adds get intrusive and hard to find how to back out of advertisements and get to the actual radar. All I wanted was a Simple radar that you could click on when needed, not being bothered by unnecessary adds and alerts. After that said. It's not going to rain long. Full Review

if it wasn't constantly trying to get me to upgrade, constantly selling me other ads, are constantly asking me to rate, it would be a pretty good app. Even if it did those with the regularity of other apps, but it is constant multiple times during a use there are pop ups. I don't know how it is as a paid app, but I refuse to upgrade based on how annoying it is. So I have found another app to give me the same information that is much easier and less annoying to use Full Review

Touch gestures are not intuitive, and sometimes they cause unintended things, and cannot be disabled in many android apps. if you activate the android zooming gestures (newer androids), and read the tutorial (in settings), this app will give you lots of great detail; more so than other apps i have tried this far.
